Bugatti Lifestyle Boutique Opens Up In Porto Cervo

If you know anything about Porto Cervo, then you know that the world’s richest individuals enjoy spending their time there.

This Italian seaside resort is located in northern Sardinia, Italy, and it is now the home of a new lifestyle pop-up boutique that bears the Bugatti badge. Located in Harrods Village, the boutique acts as a parking space for two gorgeous Veyrons, and it opened its doors for the first time on July 4, 2015.

It will remain opened until August 31, 2015 from 10AM to 12PM, and it will allow visitors to purchase some of the brand’s most exquisite lifestyle products, including clothing pieces and accessories. Don’t expect anything in there to be cheap, though, as we’re talking about a Bugatti establishment after all.

When will the world see a new Bugatti? That’s a question journalists and enthusiasts alike have been asking forever.

After all, the Veyron has been on the market for almost 10 years already (since 2005).

But there may be an answer to that question in 2016, when Bugatti is allegedly set to release the Veyron-replacing Chiron. It’s a car that will have 1500 horsepower and a 0-100km/h (0-60 mph) time of 2.5 seconds. Yeah, that fast. 

As for speed — 288 mph is the alleged top end. At that rate, that would make it the fastest car on the planet. For now, all this detailed information remains unconfirmed from Bugatti.

The Exclusive Clothing Line from Bugatti

With outfits for ladies and gents, the new collection is a limited edition, exclusively aimed at the owners of the "Les Légendes Bugatti" series.

Bugatti never ceases to amaze us. With its usual innovative concepts, the legendary French brand of luxury and competition cars now presents a different product: the exclusive Bugatti Legends Capsule clothing collection inspired by its Les Légendes de Bugatti series. Les Légendes de Bugatti is made up of six special editions— based on the Bugatti Veyron Grand Sports Vitesse, which the company created as a tribute to crucial figures in its more than 100 years of history.

Founded in 1909 by the Italian Ettore Bugatti, the firm has always been synonymous with prestige and quality. With its exclusive models, Bugatti represents one of the most important and unique automotive companies in the world, characterized by attention to detail and remarkable taste in the manufacture of automobiles.

The new Bugatti Legends Capsule collection, with outfits for men and women, is a limited edition directed only to a small number of clients: the owners of the only three copies of each of the versions of the series Les Légendes de Bugatti. The uniqueness and distinction of this collection is that each garment—and its various accessories— have been made by hand and with the same materials, patterns and colors used in the interior of the legendary Bugatti Veyron.

The garments of the "Jean-Pierre Wimille" Legend model include bicolor buffalo leather jackets, men´s shirts, ladies' shirts adorned with Swarovski crystal, and matching driving belts and gloves. The T-shirts of the T "Jean Bugatti" Legend model show a printed silhouette of the Type 57 Atlantic, while the ladies’ T-shirts are made of silk with kimono sleeves.

The jackets of the "Meo Constantini" Legend model are made with the finest Cordovan leather and those of the "Rembrandt Bugatti" Legend feature cocoa color calfskin embellished with galvanized brass, lined with silk and carbon fiber and a logo that represents a dancing elephant.

The pieces of the "Black Bess" Legend model include black deerskin jackets, shirts decorated with Swarovski crystal details and, as in other models, the belt buckle with the Bugatti monogram. Finally, the last of the legends, the Bugatti Veyron "Ettore Bugatti" –which bears the name of the company’s founder— boasts Cordovan leather jackets lined with blue silk and carbon fiber prints.

"Authentic and with a meticulous attention to detail, this Bugatti Legends Capsule collection is one of the first custom projects that the brand has created for its customers," says Massimiliano Ferrari, managing director of Bugatti International and responsible for the Lifestyle Bugatti project, which has already announced the creation of a line of clothing for anyone who is fond of their cars. 

BUGATTI 12.4 ATLANTIQUE CONCEPT CAR

Recently, Bugatti indicated it’s not going to start working on a new model replacing the world’s fastest car anytime soon and the recent grim news of the company struggling to sell the stockpile of 40 Veyrons worth $85 million makes the situation even worse. But, Italian designer Alan Guerzoni has conceptualized a new Bugatti, both in the coupe and spider versions, which is a fine blend of classic design and modern technology. Dubbed the ‘Bugatti 12.4 Atlantique’, the streamline racer concept brings the best of both the worlds as it designed to look as if it were a work of the 1930s but underpinned with technology from the modern Bugatti Veyron. According to Alan, the Bugatti Veyron’s design lacks in passion and the Bugatti 12.4 Atlantique is the right interpretation of what the legendary marquee’s modern car should be like.

By judging the design, the Bugatti 12.4 Atlantique looks like the car Captain Nemo would have driven and garage it onboard his submarine, the Nautilus. The overall design of the concept also closely resembles the Aero Coupe made by the British motoring company, Morgan. It takes its inspiration from the 1935 Type 57SC Atlantic coupe and has similar swooping body lines. But the exterior is also quite generously peppered with modern touches like the LED headlights and the beautiful tail-lamp cluster. On the inside, the materials used for cockpit are top quality leather, mahogany, aluminium and carbon fiber making a fusion of classic with modern design elements. The spider version has an amazingly conceptualized hard-top retractable roof which transforms the car into a track-ready beast. Watch the video of the spider concept after the jump, it is fabulous!

Veyron Vitesse Black Bess

It’s always a pleasure to talk about anything related to Bugatti and today we’re delighted to show you the latest in the Italian supercar manufacture’s Legends range: the Veyron 16.4 Grand Sport Vitesse Black Bess, named after the Bugatti Type 18, released over 100 years ago (which was named Black Bess after a famous race horse of the time).

The new model is powered by a 1,200 PS 8.0-liter W16 engine that outputs 1,500 Nm of torque between 3,000 and 5,000 rpm. It can go from 0 to 62 mph at a lightning-fast pace, in just 2.6 seconds and has a top speed of over 250 mph (or 408 km/h) with the roof down.

The Bugatti Veyron Vitesse Black Bess scores just as high in the aesthetics department, its black exterior finish featuring various parts coated in 24kt gold. As for the interior, it comes with hand-painted leather-upholstery and Crimson leather covered steering wheel.

Only three Veyron Vitesse Black Bess supercars will ever be built, each of them priced at about $3 million (2.173.000 Euro)

Only 50 Bugatti Veyrons left for sale

Only 50 Bugatti Veyrons left for sale before the production of the iconic car draws to an end.

 When the Volkswagen group acquired the trademark rights of the former automaker Bugatti in 1998, it had a very ambitious plan in store to revive the iconic brand. Something unprecedented that’ll leave its mark in the history of automobiles. The attempt was to build the world’s most over-engineered car that’ll break all the previous records comfortably with a huge margin. Most of the industry specialists debunked the idea, but in 2005 the world got the best four wheeled automobile ever made in the history of mankind in the form of Bugatti Veyron. In 2005, the Bugatti Veyron 16.4 not only snatched the record for being the fastest production car on the earth from the legendary McLaren F1 but also became the first to break into the 400kmph league. Eight years later, the luxury automaker owned by VW group today has announced it has sold its 400th Veyron and it’ll only build 50 more.

 Out of the 400 Veyrons sold till date, 300 were Veyron 16.4 and 16.4 Super Sport coupes with the Super Sport currently holding the record of fastest production car ever made. The company only planned to make 300 of those, so new buyers can only buy the roadster versions, the Veyron 16.4 Grand Sport and 16.4 Grand Sport Vitesse. The 400th Veyron that was sold was the third and final example of the Jean-Pierre Wimille edition seen here in the pictures. The Wimille edition is the first in a series of six Legend specials that pay homage to Bugatti’s history. The rest of 50 Veyrons left to be made will take a little more than a year to leave the factory floors and then the legendary car will be etched in the history books forever as one of the most glorious engineering marvels to be ever made. Which urges us to ask, what’s next? We might never see a car that’ll be better or even similar to the Veyron. For every Veyron Bugatti makes, the company loses almost the same amount of money it makes from each sale and for that reason alone, the records set by the icon might stay put forever.
