Ultra popular young singer Rihanna has purchased a stunning $12 million mansion in Pacific Palisades.

The 11,000 square foot home features seven bedrooms, nine bathrooms and a luxury kitchen. The new mansion was built in 2010 and designed like a tropical villa, complete with a sprawling pool, spa, 6,000 square-foot back garden and sun deck.

With the garden’s added privacy, the 24-year-old singer will be able to throw some of her legendary parties in peace.

The ‘Diamond’ singer tweeted of the new dream home, “I literally wake up every morning at 5:30ish and stare at my pool til the sun comes up! Just waiting! Is this my life.”

Continental GT 2014 is the fastest Bentley ever

Bentley has pushed its iconic 6.0-litre twin-turbo W12 engine even further to extract even more power from it and now it produces 635 PS (626bhp / 467 kW) and a record 820 Nm of torque. The British luxury car maker is gearing up for the upcoming Geneva Motor show which kicks off next week and Bentley will unveil its fastest and the most powerful Continental GT ever. The Continental GT as got a power upgrade of 10bhp more than previous version. Also by bettering the top speed by 1mph, the 2014 Continental GT is the fastest Bentley ever. It is capable of reaching a top speed of 331kmph (206mph) and the cabrio version can hit the top speed of 327kmph (203mph)

The exterior of the new Bentley sports quite a few changes including a sharp front splitter, elegant side skirts and a beautifully shaped rear diffuser which are finished to match the exterior paint color for the first time. It also comes with lowered chassis, stiffer suspensions and a dark tint finish has also been applied on the 21 inch alloy wheels. Joining it will be the luxury sedan Flying Spur that will also be offered with a 4.0 liter twin-turbo V8 apart from the W12 6.0 liter engine. Visually, the black grille will be the differentiating factor between the V8 and W12 powered Flying spurs.

World’s first supersonic business jet to ditch windows for panoramic HD virtual displays

 Are you one of those who love to sit by the window in-flight and enjoy the view outside? The pothole windows are anything but impressive and rarely offer a good view. But soon we will have aircrafts with giant virtual windows that’ll offer a panoramic view of the outside via live-steaming. Remember the S-512 concept private jet being developed by the Boston based Spike Aerospace? When complete, not only will it be the first private aircraft to cruise at supersonic speeds but also will be the first plane to offer virtual panoramic windows on-board.

 The concept of virtual windows isn’t new and we have heard of the technology being used commercially in offices and even in some housing projects. Even Royal Caribbean has started using HD displays as virtual balconies on-board its brand new cruise ships, but it’s for the first time that the technology has found its way to the aerospace industry. Windows add drag to the design and for an aircraft to attain supersonic speeds it must have a very small drag co-efficient. So the window-less design for the S-512 is very important for it to go supersonic and be efficient. It will feature a live-streaming screen that will replace the windows in planes and the screens will display high definition live-feed from cameras fixed on the S-512’s exterior. The screens can be dimmed or shut-down as per the choice of the flier. Sounds brilliant, but let’s hope that the under-development S-512 private jet sees the light of the day.

For an airline jut 17 years old Qatar Airways is in the forefront of the industry with numerous achievements that also include 129 aircrafts and 134 destinations..

Adding to their list of accomplishment, Qatar Airways has announced plans to operate the first all-business class service from London Heathrow, set to start on May 15. The date co-insides with the airlines launch of its daily Airbus A319 flight service from Terminal 4 at Heathrow.

The special flight is designed to seat 40 passengers in a single-aisle, 2-2 seating configuration. Comfort and privacy being utmost importance, the aircraft features seats that recline fully into flat beds. For in-flight entertainment through airlines Oryx entertainment system passengers will have access to over 900 films, TV shows, music channels and games. Targeted customers being the business executives they also offer SMS mobile texting GSM and GPRS connectivity.

All-business class flight will be the sixth daily flight from London Heathrow for the airline. The seven-hour flight will depart at 9.55 pm and arrive in Doha around 6.40 am the next day. From Doha flight will depart at 2.50 pm daily and arrive in Heathrow at 8.25pm. Passengers also get access to the new Qatar Airways lounge in Heathrow and the Premium Terminal in Doha. Qatar Airways is yet to announce the fares for the service, but it is expected to be in the region of £4,325 or about $7,200.
