LOUIS VUITTON’S DAMIER CARBONE KEEPALL TRAVEL BAG GETS A HIGH TECH MAKEOVER

Louis Vuitton is serious about carbon fiber. After designing carbon black BMW i8Luggage set, the French fashion house has released the Damier Carbone Keepall Bandouliere, made from the lightweight carbon fiber material which is usually used in supercars, planes and yachts.

Louis Vuitton first forayed into using the innovative material in 2010 with the Damier Carbone Keepall 45. This year, the Damier Carbone Keepall is a bigger, better and 35% lighter version of its Monogram counterpart.

The carbon fiber coated canvas provides high tensile strength, chemical resistance and high-temperature tolerance ideal for robust travelers. The Damier Carbone Keepall features a removable and adjustable shoulder strap with patch, rounder leather handles for easier portability.

Aluminum and silver brass metallic pieces bear the brand’s padlock. The ultra-light microfiber lining is helmed with cowhide leather trimmings with name tag, handles fastener and zipped closure.

The Damier Carbone Keepall Bandoulière comes in two sizes: 45 (17.7″ x 9.8″ x 7.9″) for 2.380 Euro ($3,300) and 55 (21.7″ x 11.8″ x 9.4″) available for 2.630 Euro ($3,650).

Louis Vuitton Creates Luggage Series for the BMW i8

When a leading automaker teams up with a luxury fashion brand, great things are bound to happen. So when BMW decided to add a little bit of French glamour to its German engineering, they looked to Louis Vuitton to create a line of tailor-made luggage for their new i8 model.
The resulting bags and cases are made entirely from the carbon fiber, a high-tech, lightweight, yet extremely sturdy material. The collection consists of two travel bags, a business case and a garment bag. All of these elegant pieces feature the iconic checkered Damier patter, leather name tags and a laser-etched Louis Vuitton signature.
All the items are designed to fit perfectly into the interior of the BMW i8. The 4.750 Euro ($6,555) Weekender GM i8, for instance, with both hand and shoulder carry straps, is meant to go into the car’s boot. The 4.450 Euro ($6,280) Business Case i8, great for carrying laptops, matches the shape of the rear seats, while the Weekender PM i8 is designed to rest on its surface.
The collection will be available upon request starting April 1st in a selection of Louis Vuitton stores around the world (Munich, Milan, London, Paris, Moscow, Dubai, New York, Los Angeles).

Gisele Bündchen for Louis Vuitton Spring 2014 Campaign

Gisele Bündchen is more than just a model. She is the goddess, beautiful and enchanting. The charm that she possesses is absolutely impossible to resist. Every single human being with more or less decent level of aesthetic appreciation falls in love with the Brazilian stunner. She graces numerous covers as well as gets featured in ad campaigns and lookbooks. Be it Mango, Chanel or Victoria’s Secret, the beauty looks totally stunning and makes every piece she shows off shine. There is a lot more to say about this delicate and successful lady, but I think I don’t need to go any further. You all know who she is and what she is famous for, so I won’t continue with my inspired speeches. Instead, let me introduce you Gisele’s latest work for Louis Vuitton. The model presents its Spring/Summer 2014 ad campaign.

Giselle looks fabulous, just like she always does. The stunner sported a charcoal gray bomber jacket with rich embellishments and adornments. There is a gorgeous handbag right in front of her. Did you notice the way she holds it? Her gestures say very explicitly: “If you make any attempt to take this bag away, you will deal with me.” Moreover, her eyes, in a smoky style, literally kill you. Why would one dare to even sneak a glance at the fancy handbag when such a woman defends it?

Louis Vuitton Spring 2014 campaign showed off a slightly different side of Gisele. Now we know that not only can she be nice and sweet, but also there is a darker side to her personality. Which is not bad at all.  After all, we live in such a community, where ladies have to defend themselves and even protect others. Plus, naughty girls are always on the top of it. Gisele Bundchen just proved that it is possible to combine various features and ampluas in one single body. And it has nothing to do with magic – it is all about being confident and loving yourself.
