Famous for its world-leading wine selection, private dessert room and dry-aged steaks, the restaurant was acknowledged as the best steak house in the United States and even won the Grand Award by Wine Spectator Magazinefor 30 years in a row.

Bern Laxer, a lover of fine wine, organic food farming and great food, opened this place in 1956. The restaurant impresses not only with its delicious food, but also with the elegant and refined interior, lined with fine art.

The wine cellar features an impressive collection of 600,000 bottles, some dating back to the 18thcentury. To help you make an idea of how much this collection is worth, we tell you that a single 1947 Chateau Latour bottle costs $30,000 (Euro 26.980).

Even if the Steak House’s cuisine is based mainly on meat, the restaurant also provides vegetarian cooking and seafood. Guests can choose the size, cut and preparation of the steak. After dinner they are offered a tour of the wine cellar, the kitchen and a table in the Harry Waugh dessert room.
